Canada & my new tunes!
Monday, 16th March 2009
It’s been a strange couple of weeks, I had an awesome 12-day tour of Canada but whilst I was away my Dad was taken seriously ill and was in hospital when I got back, so I’ve been a bit stressed to say the least. He is on the mend though now and recuperating at home.
So the tour took in the major cities where hard dance is prevalent in Canada; -Edmonton, Winnipeg, Calgary and Vancouver with Quebec City a wicked addition to the usual four. I managed to see 3 out of 5 of my Canada based cousins whilst I was there, some flew and drove for hours to see me, which was lovely.

I managed to somehow stay fresh and jetlag free for most of the trip by sleeping as much as possible during the day whenever I could, staying on UK time which with being several hours behind meant I was wide awake in the middle of the night for my sets. The thing that really affects me is eating habits, if you have a meal at a time when your body isn’t used to it; it makes you feel awful, so my sister gave me these powder shake drinks that were packed with vitamins and nutrients which definitely made a huge difference. It hit me really bad when I got home though which proves that no matter what you do it catches up with you and you can’t trick your body.
