Food Fest and Partying With The Holloways!!

Well folks its been a while since my last entry - BK and I have been working on a load of tracks for our album and I decided to launch a new label Siren Trax in the worst economic climes since the second world war, which requires balls of steel -something I have newly acquired...Add to that a few trips abroad and days turn into weeks etc etc.

Since the rise of Twitter I also think people want their news a little less in depth and far more current, but for now I will fill you in on the details...if you'd like to follow me on Twitter go to link
Last Wednesday was Bryn from The Holloways birthday bash at The Flowerpot in Camden and as my other half manages them I got to go along. Stephen Mahoney my style/media consultant friend brought me 2 fab tops and a dress by Ted baker from their Autumn/winter 09 range one of which Im wearing in the picture. link I am very lucky in the respect that I get given lovely things to wear, in particular 2 dresses by Ringspun which are daring but, if I stick to the current regime, will be wearing all summer.

The following day was absolute heaven, thanks to a tip off from BK; we went to the Taste Of London food festival at Regents Park. We bought tickets and basically worked our way round a plethora of stalls from London's best Michelin-star restaurants with a dazzling array of global superstar chefs including UKs Gary Rhodes, tasting dishes from each kitchen. It was a really memorable day and Id recommend it to anyone who likes his or her food and Ill definitely be going next year...

I was in Ireland at the weekend for a small club in Cork. The last time I played it was a painful 2 hours on a bad system in the sweatiest conditions without even a fan behind the dj box but I was looked after really well, the clubbers were genuine and had an amazing night nevertheless. This time there were a few more problems with the sound system which I was really hoping they would have sorted out by now, but I guess the credit crunch is taking it's toll and people are having to make cut backs in all areas which is a worrying sign of the times...

On a happier note Siren Trax is on target with the first release I Cant Hear Ya on July 27th initially to be exclusive on href="www.trackitdown.net">link and a full release everywhere else 2 weeks later.
